Sam says “Having searched for ways to access my Windows Live Hotmail account using Evolution I came across an article on the Ubuntu Forums regarding the hotwayd package. The original document is based on the procedure from ubuntuforums for Ubuntu using inetd, I have written a quick guide for openSUSE which uses xinetd and is intended for use in configuration of the hotwayd package and the Evolution email client on openSUSE 11 (Gnome)”

superTux – Classic 2D jump’n'run sidescroller game in openSUSE

SuperTux is a classic 2D jump’n run sidescroller game in a style similar to the original SuperMario games. The Milestone1 release of SuperTux features 9 enemies, 26 playable levels, software and OpenGL rendering modes, configurable joystick and keyboard input, new music and completly redone graphics. Together with a little story, SuperTux provides a good gaming experience with this first Milestone release.

BeeDiff – opensource GUI tool for file comparison and merge

BeeDiff (beediff) is a program with graphical user interface (GUI) for comparing and merging files. User have the possibilty to work with two text files, each in separate panel. Panels are side by side. All differences of both texts are highlighted in color. Operation buttons (such as merge and remove) are located directly inside the compared texts in appropriate positions. The program is user-friendly, very simple, and efficient.
