  1. For some reason, when you install the firmware and reboot. I navigate to the network manager and I am unable to see anything. What am I missing?

Do you mean, there is no wireless card in there? Are you dual booting with Windows by any chance? Whats the chipset of the Broadcom card

  3. I have followed the above to install the broadcom drivers to the letter. The wireless is not obtaining an IP address from the router. All the correct details have been entered for the encryption, etc, and was working fine in openSUSE 10.3. I have also tried to set up the wireless with ndiswrapper, and an IP address was obtained but unable to browse the interest. I thought it may be the firewall settings, but I find the openSUSE one a challenge to understand. Any suggestions?

  4. Thanks a lot for instructions. Took me a couple of minutes to get wireless to work.
