abby GUI & addons utilities for Clive/CClive

Clive is a command line utility for extracting videos from Youtube and other video sharing Web sites. Click here to see how to install and configure in openSUSE.

There is also a cutdown version of Clive, CClive which has a smaller footprint and fewer dependencies. The feature stripped off Clive to create CClive are paste, background, emit-xml, progress type and Cache.

WinFF – GUI for ffmpeg to convert videos in OpenSUSE

WinFF is a simple GUI for ffmpeg, the command line video converter. WinFF will convert almost any video file that FFmpeg will convert. WinFF converts multiple files in multiple formats at one time. WinFF is free opensource software released under GPLv3 license and is supported in Linux and Windows. WinFF supports multiple languages like Brazillian Portuguese, Bulgarian, Chinese Tradditional, Danish, English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Turkish.

Create thumbnails from your videos using ffmpegthumbnailer

ffmpegthumbnailer, as the name suggests, is a free opensource command line utility licensed under (GPL v2) to create thumbnails in JPG or PNG format for your video files of formats that are supported by ffmpeg. The thumbnailer uses ffmpeg to decode frames from the video files, so supported videoformats depend on the configuration flags of ffmpeg.
