In openSUSE 11.0, AIGLX with Compsite is enabled by default for Intel Display Devices.AIGLX rendering is faster because of using hardware rendering for OpenGL and Xvideo. However, issues with Fragment Environment Variables mean Compiz-Fusion plugins Water, Blur and Reflection may not work correctly in which case, you have use XGL Rendering to get the above to work or work properly.Read More →
