Google Chrome is the new cool faster browser that has been around and making news for a while but only on Windows until recently they finally released the Linux version of the browser. With google chrome browser slowly gaining traction and acceptance among general internet users, the browser has also evolved from being a simple raw fast browser with features like themes and extensions that made Firefox so very popular and more web app integration.

RedNotebook is a free opensource Diary and Journal software that can help you keep track of your notes, tips, tiny information you tend to forget, images etc. RedNotebook is simple and easy to use where it has a calendar navigation, customizable templates and word clouds.

A quick calendar on the roadmap for openSUSE 11.3 release. With the openSUSE 11.3 milestone 4 released today, the next release Milestone 5 is expected on the 5th April 2010 and the final stable release for public use is expected to be released on the 15th July, 2010.

DenyHosts is a free opensource utility to secure your SuSE server or your openSUSE system from Brut-force attacks on the SSH server running on your system. DenyHosts works by updating the /etc/hosts.deny file on your SuSE or openSUSE system with the IP address of a host after a set number of failed login attempt from it.
