iftop is yet another free opensource tool to measure bandwidth utilization on the network interfaces on your systems or servers. As the name predicts, iftop is what “top” utility is for CPU usage measurement.

Capivara – Twin panel advanced File Manager

Capivara is a two pane file manager with remote synchronization support using SFTP and FTP. Capivara  synchronization adds features like comparing timestamps or SHA-1 hash values and has a preview mode to shos which files are going to be deleted or copied. Because Capivara is Java based and all it requries is a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) it can run on multiple platforms like Linux, Solaris, Unix, Solaris, Mac OSX and windows.

Qps Visual Process manager (X11 ps) in openSUSE

Qps Visual Process Manager is an X11 version of “top” or “ps” that displays processes in a window and lets you sort and manipulate them. It displays some general system information, and many details about current processes (such as the TCP/UDP sockets in use by a process). Qps runs on Linux and Solaris.
