Swiftfox is yet another free browser which is an optimized build of the Mozilla Firefox web browser. The browser is fully compatible with any existing themes, extensions for Firefox.

Install Swiftfox in openSUSE

Swiftfox provides you with installer script which automatically download and installs the firefox build under /opt/swiftfox and adds a menu item under “Applications – Internet – More Programs“.

Download the swiftfox installer for your platform from here

Once downloaded, change the permission

saihari@opensuse11:~/Desktop> chmod 755 install-swiftfox.sh

Run the installer. If you are running as a normal user you need to enter the password for the Root user to continue with the installation.

saihari@opensuse11:~/Desktop> ./install-swiftfox.sh
