Furious ISO Mount is a simple Gtk+ Interface to mount image files in openSUSE Linux. The Image files include ISO, IMG, BIN, MDF and NRG Image files without having to burning to disk. Furius ISO Mount can mount using the loop device or using FUSE ISO mount module. However, requires the FUSE ISO mount module to be installed.

Packaman provides a 1-click Install file to install “Furius ISO Mount”. This will work in openSUSE 11.0 & openSUSE 10.3
Click here to download and open with YaST2 package manager to install “Furius ISO Mount” in openSUSE.
Once installed, you can find “Furius ISO Mount” under Applications – Multimedia
When you launch the program abd browse and select the image file, it will automatically mount the image file (ISO here) under your /home directory. It also allows you to generate the checksum file or to burn it directly onto a an optical disk.
